2021 Race Announcement
The 2021 Kodiak Ultra Marathons will take place August 20-21, 2021.

After all we battled through last year, we are excited to return this year! On our August 20-21 dates, we will be able to offer the 100M race in addition to the first-ever Kodiak 100K! The new 100K race will start along with the 100M race in the Big Bear Village. The finish line will be at the Cushenbury Summit.
On Saturday, August 21st we will have another first - a Half Marathon and 10K that will start and finish in the Big Bear Village. Bring your friends, family, and kids so they can experience a little bit of the Big Bear trails for themselves! Registration opens on June 15, 2021 on RunSignUp.
Unfortunately, we won’t be able to include a 50M or 50K during the August event. We are
working on a date for these races, potentially in September. But we cannot be sure at this time. Please stay tuned and follow our social media and website for updates.
We are always looking to add more wonderful volunteers! If you’re not racing, why not come join as a volunteer. Get a Team Kodiak shirt, race credits (can be combined with other race credits and they never expire!), swag from our sponsors, and lots of fun up in the mountains! The 2021 Prize Purse, presented by Visit Big Bear, is $10,000! Stay tuned for more details!
ROLLOVER CREDITS
Please bear with us as we get all the rollovers processed. It is a very manual process and takes a bit of time. If you opted to rollover in 2020, you have the choice of registering for the 2021 Kodiak or the 2022 Kodiak. Registration is NOT automatic. You must register yourself by July 1, 2021 if you are rolling over to the 2021 race. See rollover process below. If you are opting to wait until 2022, you will register next year. After registering, you will need to adhere to our Deferral and Cancellation policies (i.e. you cannot keep rolling over after you sign-up as we need to lock in orders and plans). If you do nothing by July 1, your spot will automatically rollover to 2022. No exceptions - please don’t ask. While we want to be as flexible as possible, it is already late in the year to procure all the supplies we need and we cannot extend these deadlines. We do really appreciate your understanding on this.
