2019 Race Announced

The 2019 Kodiak Ultra Marathons will take place August 16-18, 2019

We've got a few changes lined up for the 2019 Edition:

** We're replacing the prize purse with cool finisher swag for 100 milers

** The 100 mile race will start at 6PM on Friday, August 16. That's right, a night start!

** The exact 50M and 50K start times are TBD pending FS approval. They will both start in the early morning of Saturday, August 17.

**Pacers in 100M race only.

** There will be a mandatory pre-race briefing for all 100 milers. If you do not attend, you cannot run the 100 mile race.

** Qualification for the 100 miler is at least a 50M finish within the race's official cutoff time, completed in the last 2 years

** We're looking for more awesome Aid Station Captains - send us an email!

**Get in on our sweet Early Bird deals if you register by January 31!**

Other things to note:

All volunteer credits must be used by January 31. If you earned credits in 2018, register by Jan 31. Contact us to get your credits applied in Ultrasignup.

The Bear Mountain Aid Station and Skyline Aid Station have merged. The new Aid Station will be at SKYFERN, which is Mile 88 of the 100M race, mile 36.1 of the 50M, and mile 17.6 of the 50K.

There are 3 sections of the course where you will travel 9 or 10 miles in between Aid Stations. (One section in the 50M and 50K.) You may be required to carry a minimum of 2 liters of water with you before leaving the aid station. Be prepared on race day. Details will be in the race manual.

The Dump Aid Station is now called "Cushenbury."

We will be a cup-less race in 2019. Only cups for hot liquids will be available at the aid station. Bring your own cup, flask, water bottle, or bladder.
